About Us

Pure Ego is a small Canadian indie game studio created by two friends, in the heart of downtown Edmonton. Our aim at Pure Ego is to create fun and vibrant games that incorporate the challenge of classic games from our youth.

Philip Royer is responsible for the visual elements at Pure Ego. A graduate of the Art Institute of Burnaby, he spends his time behind the desk with an ever-expanding list of key combos you should never press when working. He has a love for old NES titles, and has been on a quest to finish Battle Toads for the past eighteen years...

Slobodan Pejić, graduate of the University of Alberta's Computing Science department, makes the technical side jive. Growing up, he amuzed himself with a variety of unique and challenging games on an Amiga 500. Today, he enjoys the straight up action of FPSs and RTSs on the PC.
